Time is running out for Rhine in this conclusion to the New York Times bestselling Chemical Garden Trilogy. What are you waiting on this week? Leave me a link in the comments and I'll do my best to stop by and check it out!
With the clock ticking until the virus takes its toll, Rhine is desperate for answers. After enduring Vaughn’s worst, Rhine finds an unlikely ally in his brother, an eccentric inventor named Reed. She takes refuge in his dilapidated house, though the people she left behind refuse to stay in the past. While Gabriel haunts Rhine’s memories, Cecily is determined to be at Rhine’s side, even if Linden’s feelings are still caught between them.
Meanwhile, Rowan’s growing involvement in an underground resistance compels Rhine to reach him before he does something that cannot be undone. But what she discovers along the way has alarming implications for her future—and about the past her parents never had the chance to explain.
In this breathtaking conclusion to Lauren DeStefano’s Chemical Garden trilogy, everything Rhine knows to be true will be irrevocably shattered.

Review: Blood Red Road
I have nothing but praise for the writing, the characters, the plot, every little thing. If you haven't read this book yet, I'm telling you right now to please stop making the same mistake that I made for over a year! Read. This. Book. ASAP. It is exceptional!

ARC Review: The Selection
I was a bit hesitant to read The Selection after... the fact that this book is described as The Bachelor meets The Hunger Games, but... I was pleasantly surprised! I actually really enjoyed this book!

ARC Review: Masque of the Red Death
Debauchery Club. Steampunk. Dystopia. Hot boys. Are you sold yet? I sure as hell was from the moment that I first read the synopsis! And I can say, without a second thought, that this book lived up to and surpassed all of my expectations!

ARC Review: The Last Echo
...I was so sad when I first read the title of this book because I thought that it meant that it was going to be the end of an awesome series, but luckily the title is misleading! I adore this series and everything about it, and The Last Echo was no exception.

Review: Desires of the Dead
I finally decided to pick up Desires of the Dead and am so glad that I did; it was such a fantastic read!... Overall, I loved this sequel! It was very well written and I loved the mystery and suspense in the plot...

Review: Afterlife
The Evernight series was one of the first that I began reading when I got into young adult books about four years ago, so I'm really sad to see it come to an end, but I've really enjoyed reading the series and Afterlife was no different!

Sever! I have no idea how this will all wrap up in one book but I am dying to find out! Great pick!

Honestly I haven't read Fever yet even though I loved Wither. It's one of those books I'm waiting till I can read book 2 and 3 together! I have so many series and I hate the wait inbetween so there's a few I've decided to hold off until I can finish them. That said, I really can't wait for Sever so I can read them both!
ReplyDeleteWither was really good, so I can't understand why I haven't read Fever yet.. Thanks for reminding me, I need to read that as soon as possible!

I'm kind of sad it's ending though! Oh well, I can't wait for it either. I'm still not sure I like that cover - I'm hoping that's just a decoy or something. Wither was so gorgeous, I'm not sure what's happened since then.
ReplyDeleteTerrific pick!

ReplyDeleteThis is the book I am waiting for too! I feel like there is so much that has to happen and maybe not enough space! I'm cannot wait to see how the series is concluded. I hope, hope, hope that the virus is cured and we get a glimpse of the world beginning to change into something a lot less scary.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any in this series, but they are super popular at the library where I work. I have to say, that I just love the covers of these books! Thanks for sharing :)
